As a rule, we do not encourage children to bring mobile phones to school or on school trips.

If children in Year 6 need to bring one to school, it must be handed in to the class teacher on arrival where it will be stored in a locked box during the school day.

Volunteers should ensure that their mobile phones are on silent and that they avoid all use of personal mobile devices while they are on the school property. If it is absolutely necessary for that device to be used, we ask that it is used in areas where no pupils are present. Under no circumstances should photographs be taken while they are supporting the school as a volunteer.
