Claremont School Primary School Parent Teacher Association (PTA)The PTA is a registered charity run by the parents/guardians of pupils at the school who volunteer their time. The PTA’s role is mainly to raise money to
support the school and advance the education of its pupils through fund-raising
events and donations. They also do events that are just for fun – such as the
annual drinks reception for new parents.
The money raised is spent across the whole school so that every child will benefit
from the PTA’s contributions during their time at the school. The PTA supports
a range of things from large scale projects such as refurbishing the outside
teaching spaces or the I.T. provision to subsidising school trips and smaller
things like providing the ice creams for sports day or Santa hats for the
Christmas lunch!

PTA Membership
Did you know that all teachers and the parents/guardians of children attending Claremont School automatically become a member of the PTA?
All parents are warmly invited to get involved as much or as little as you like. You could get a group of friends together to run an event (you don’t have to be on the
Committee to do this), you could help source prizes for our raffle or you could
run a stall for a couple of hours at the Summer fete. As a member, you are also
eligible for election to the Committee which consists of up to 15 people who
run the charity and can vote on decisions.
We’d love to hear from you if you are interested to get involved – please
email us.
