Headteacher's Welcome

'A hub of educational excellence and innovation, supporting and valuing everyone'

Thank you for visiting our website. We hope that our website will provide you with useful information about our school and will introduce you to our educational and personal values.

We are delighted to announce that to mark the 50th Year of Claremont we will be setting up a sensory room and purchasing additional supportive technology to benefit all the pupils at the school in acknowledgement and celebration of the hard work and dedication of the teachers and teaching partners over the years and their tireless commitment to Claremont's pupils.

Claremont Primary is a thriving and popular two-form entry primary school in Tunbridge Wells. We have high expectations in all areas of life and are proud of our academic successes, and county and national successes in sports and chess. We offer an exciting and innovative curriculum. However, the children of Claremont are at the heart of all we do and all the decisions we make. We are proud of our well-behaved and polite children with their very positive attitudes to learning and their school community. We actively promote and display our core values: Autumn 1: Determination with Self-Belief, Autumn 2: Respect and kindness, Spring: Joy in well-being, Summer: Imagination through Curiosity.

A committed and dedicated staff team ensure that pupils are able to 'Let Every Light Shine' and 'to be the best that we can be', not only in lessons, but in an extensive range of activities outside of the school day.

If you would like to know more, please contact the school office.
